2/19/10: Updated Test Results

Weight's down a couple kilos to 142lbs and test numbers are up a touch. Overall, P/W ratio is up significantly. Can't wait to see what happens come July!

5min - 389w
20min - 319w
FTP - 304w

This is why tracking weight is important. The raw numbers barely went up, but given I'm nearly 2 kilos lighter, the numbers are solid. As a point of reference, my watts on the 5min would need to be 401 at the weight when I last tested. My 20min result would have needed to be 328. 10-15w doesn't sound like a lot, but it is. Effectively 3-5%.

Still a ways to go - drop another couple kilos and raise the numbers, too - but it will happen, especially when racing begins in earnest.

Ride safe,
Nate
