1/14/09: ALS Spin-a-thon

Feedback Sports has a great opportunity to give back to the Boulder County and greater Denver Metro area! We will be hosting an ALS Spin-a-thon at the Boulder REI store on Saturday, February 7th.

ALS, more commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a killer without a cure. The Spin-a-thon is in memory of Jon Blais, the first athlete with ALS to complete the Hawaii Ironman in October 2005. Before being permanently disabled and then killed by ALS, Jon challenged all athletes to help find a cure for the disease. More about Jon Blais and the ALS Spin-a-thon can be learned at http://www.spinforals.com/

If you're local, come spin with us on the 7th; REI will be providing up to 10 trainers for those who do not own one or cannot bring their own (in the case of a CompuTrainer, for example). The event will run from 9am until 5pm; stay for as long as you like. If you would like to help make a difference in the fight against ALS, you can either do so at REI or click on "Donate Now" at the URL provided above.

We're excited to make this a great and successful event. We hope you decide to in some way be a part of this.

Regards,

The Feedback Sports Racing Team
